We deep dive into the challenges of a developing eoncomy juxtaposed between the East & West, that also stands out as a vibrant manufacturing and export hub into the rest of Europe - as well as home to one of the most fascinating cultures that binds both sides of the globe.

A successful transition to democracy

We will explore the public administration and governance systems within the country, as well as the role of the third sector (non-profit and non-governmental sector).

We will engage in an introduction to the history of Ghana, especially in the contemporary period of colonization and national independence and we will visit the famous European fortresses and the former slave entrepôt as well as a typical country village and a craft market.

We explore the "second-best" country to run a business worldwide (as recently recognized by The World Bank).  Singapore has become a global leader for innovation, due to its low tax rate and a strong governmental support for investment in technology. Singapore is also a logistics powerhourse and the entry port to doing business in Southeast Asia.

Sustainability & GNH

We have an exclusive peak into the secretive Kingdom of Bhutan, which was closed to the world only until recently, fighting to maintain its traditions and culture instilled in its Buddhist heritage.

We will learn about the innovative way the country has developed to measure national well-being, not by GDP (Gross Domestic Product) but by Gross National Happiness (GNH).  We will then try to decipher what we can learn from Bhutan´s case study on sustainability and hapiness, that is transferable to our own lives and organization.

We will gain access to top tech companies such as Google, Apple, Spotify, and Twitter, incubators and innovation labs such as Stanford and the Y Combinator, and venture capitalists and entrepreneurs on Sand Hill Road, who will illustrate the parallels between the startup mentality and the creative process, and explore transferable creative skills such as improvisation, listening, and collaboration.

We head to New York, to gain a first-hand understanding of the world’s most important investment and retail banks - Citi Group, Blackrock, Bank of America, Morgan Stanley, etc. – as well as visit elite schools such as Columbia University.  

We explore Boston, to visit some of the most cutting-edge technology companies, globally recognized P/E firms, as well as to attend exclusive lectures at Harvard Business School. 

Washington D.C., is our gateway to learn about global institutions such as the World Bank, International Monetary Fund (IMF), and the Inter-American Development.

Booming Magic City 

We will visit Miami, which is, on one hand, a major center and leader in finance, commerce, culture, arts, and international trade. Among all large U.S. cities, Miami is currently the 2nd-fastest growing economy, and 2nd too behind Austin, Texas, for the best location to start a business. The city’s creativity is fueled by its arms-wide-open acceptance of new immigrants.

On the other hand, Miami has a long history with its professional sports teams too.
